United Cerebral Palsy of the Golden Gate accepts donations via Paypal, Venmo, and credit/debit card. Your donation will go towards our programs and services.
UCPGG is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are a tax-exempt nonprofit agency in California.
Donate Clothing and Other Household Items
If you would like to donate clothing or other household items, you can drop them off or schedule a pickup. Please read our guidelines and view the list of accepted items.
GUIDELINES FOR DONATING
- Only donate items that are clean, in good, usable condition, and meet current safety standards.
- Follow the golden rule. Donate only items that you would use yourself or be happy to give to a friend.
- Ensure items are clean and functional. Wash or dry clean clothing and wipe down household items.
- Test electronics and battery operated items to confirm they work.
- Include all parts. Make sure all pieces and parts for games, toys, or sets (like a pair of shoes) are included.
- Package thoughtfully. Organize items by category (clothing, household goods, books, etc.) and use sturdy boxes or bags that are easy to lift. Label the contents.

Donate a Vehicle
When you donate a vehicle to UCPGG, you also benefit by:
* Qualifying for an IRS tax deduction
* Avoiding confusing DMV paperwork and smog check hassles
* Receiving a free vehicle pickup whether your donated car is running or not (restrictions apply)
* Avoiding the headaches of selling a used car (no expensive want ads, no phone calls, no showing the car repeatedly)
The car donation organization takes your information over the telephone, handles all documents, vehicle pickup, the sale at auction, and distribution of the proceeds to UCPGG.
